Sydney Markets Plaza Cafe has the freshest produce right at its doorstep! The cafe takes its name from its exact location and overlooking the fruit/vegetable and flower markets.
We are a family business with over 30 years experiance in hospitality. Our philosophy is simple – to serve quality food + coffee.
From before sunrise the cafe is buzzing with hungry farmers, providores and wholesalers having their freshly brewed coffee and meals. Followed by market shoppers, bankers and local business people.
On the run? We offer take away; choose from our full menu or display fridge of sandwiches, salads, wraps, hot meals, daily fresh pastries, smoothies, freshly squeezed juices and coffee. Take home packs of coffee beans and tosted granola are also available.
Sydney Markets Plaza Cafe is a destination point when visiting Sydney Fruit and Vegetable Markets and Flower Markets. We focus on honest food and service for a fresh start to your day.

Our Coffee
We are just as passionate about coffee as we are food. Head barista Laxman makes your favourite cup and the aroma of freshly expressed coffee fills the air. Our custom blend from Aroma Coffee boasts the finest coffee beans from Ethiopia, Costa Rica and Columbia.
This results in a medium to dark roast with a satisfying taste and that has no bitterness. “Aroma Coffee’s unrivalled consistency is achieved through a rigorous quality control process. Before we commit to purchase, our farmers send us sample bags of green beans, which we test for residual moisture content, bean quality, size and consistency.’ Gavin @ Aroma Coffee
